Film Brothers, Gordon & Greg DelGiorno’s unique blend of filmmaking and philanthropy have made them the premier filmmakers in Delaware/Philadelphia area for the last 7 years. Their entertaining comedies have wowed audiences and well as raised money for communities locally, nationally and globally. Their first-ever movie, “Franks and Wieners”, sold out 1,100 tickets in less than 2 weeks for the premier in October 2000. They continued with the “Franks and Wieners TV Show”, a series of sketch comedy bits on Comcast Cable in the Fall 2001. The Brothers continued their cinema experience working with Philadelphia writer, Whalie Reinhardt, in 2002. “Routes”, a short tale about two garbage men with different outlooks on life was accepted in six film festivals. They continued working in 2003 with another short movie called “The Lesson”.
Film Brothers came back stronger than ever in 2004 with the comedy feature “Getting Even”, a feature about senior citizens seeking revenge on the younger generation.  Audiences from all ages and walks of life welcomed this outrageous comedy movie premier and like Franks and Wieners, sold out 950 seats in less than two weeks. In March 2005, “Getting Even” sold out at The Hearts & Minds Film Festival before tickets even went on sale at the box office.

Now the Film Brothers have their eyes set on Hollywood! They have completed filming “Jack of Clubs”, a feature comedy with The Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Their talent agency, Philadelphia’s Mike Lemon Casting, Telly/Aurora award winning Herron Designs and O’Ferrell Productions have teamed up to make this movie the Film Brothers best yet!

The Film Brothers, Gordon and Greg were themselves Boys & Girls Club members and are now alumni. Gordon was "Youth of the Year 1983" at Clarence Fraim Boy's & Girl's Club in Wilmington, Delaware. After success with their last movie, they are ready to return to their roots and give back to the place that gave them a positive start as young boys. The movie was filmed at Boys & Girls Club locations in Delaware, the center of the Mid-Atlantic film market-Just two hours from NYC and DC and 30 minutes from Philadelphia. Film Brothers has prepared a step-by-step instructional package that will be presented to each Boys & Girls Clubs across the entire United States to host their own movie premieres for promotional awareness and fundraisers. 100% of the proceeds from each club’s movie premier will go towards their individual programs!

"I've never seen anyone fill a theater using that formula." He rented the theater to DelGiorno for a nominal fee and made his money on the concession stand. "I'd have to have a `Shrek' or a `Harry Potter' or a `Spider Man' on a rainy Saturday or Sunday to do that type of business. For him to do it on a Thursday is pretty phenomenal."
Michael Finocchiaro, Co-Owner of Newark Cinema
